Internal Stress

The analysis of internal stresses like shrinkage and distortion can be calculated in parallel to solidification and cooling of the component.

Influencing factors for internal stress can be a component`s geometry and position in the mold, gating and feeding system and molding sands besides others.

After calculating internal stresses and the rough part`s distortion we are able to analyze the effect of the component`s machining (up to the finished component) and also the heat treatment.
